Blue Tortilla in Selden

My Mexican go-to! I’m a gringa-Spanish teacher and I know my faves... Blue Tortilla is Tops!! Shrimp tacos are to-die for, and they use ground beef in their recipes which makes everyone else in my family happy! If you are looking for chips (and a salsa bar that’s supreme!) or a meal for the FaMEALia...go to Blue Tortilla; they do not disappoint!

Food is very good and very fresh

The food is good but they keep messing up orders. If you call and order, even when they read the order back to you correctly, it gets messed up. The orders I put through Grub Hub were correct. Makes you wonder

Fresh good food at a reasonable price. Great pico, great guacamole and best black beans I ever had. Taco Perfecto is perfect!

Delicious! 1st time here and didn't disappoint..had Chipotle rice steak bowl and plantains. Yum will revisit

It's not great. The burrito was ice cold and I picked it up when they told me to. The nachos were okay. Instead you should go to Selden grill which is up the street.

My chicken burrito was cold my first visit. Sauces I requested were missing and cold food yet again on my second visit. Motzerella sticks had to be reheated on both occasions there.

This place is awesome amazing menu super friendly service reasonable prices if I could give more stars I would check it out you won't be disappointed 👍👍

First and only visit gave two fully filled flour taco that were moderately flavorful and fresh. The al pastor was dry and just barely seasoned, while the chorizo was a much better bite. HOWEVER.....the flan was HORRIBLE! The worst I've EVER had. Don't order that and waste your time and $2.99. I'll go back to give them another try with a platter or a chimichanga. As for the desert.....I'll pass.

Overall the best burritos and Al Pastor I've had in NY! Just try the Mucho burrito, it's big as hell but taste so good. Could feed a good 2-3 people with it for just $15

What a great FRESH food. Also this place is very clean and nicely done. I love the food here. Tacos and empanadas my favorite. Also you gotta try the different types of quesadillas. Every time I go in and out happily : )

I have gone here for a few years now and I really enjoy their food. They are as authentic as I can find where I live and I can't fault the quality. It's definitely a step up from Taco Bell.

Worst customer service their fries where $15 and they forgot them with my delivery and won’t refund me back my money. When I said what if I don’t have the money to buy something else to eat (we are in a pandemic right now) they said I should of cooked something at home instead. Rude disgusting customer service didn’t even get the food I ordered and now I’m sitting here with nothing to eat. Worst place I ever ordered from in my life do not order here.

One of the good Mexican places I have ate at! The food is great, I havent gotten a bad burrito there yet. Their nachos are great too, same with the salsa etc. Theres nothing spectacular about the place in my opinion but it's not bad either. If you want to try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Had a really good burrito and the poppers were good as well. They have 4 delicious salsas to choose from in a serve your self fashion. Prices are fair for the quality.

I celebrated my birthday earlier this evening in this fine place. Well we enjoyed a delightful evening and the place was clearly the reason for the fruitful celebration. The waiters cooperated in a pleasant way, the meals were extremely good and my buddies were extremely overjoyed. We shall surely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

Best Mexican food for a LONG way around. Always freshly made and all ways good. Nice portion size and good taste. I have always gotten take out but there are seats inside for a pizzeria type dining.

My mom and I have been going here for years and absolutely love it. I don’t know why some people say their food isn’t good because it’s the best Mexican food in my opinion. Way better than all the chain restaurants. They’ve always been kind to my mom and I. The place is very clean and comfortable. Great tacos, quesadillas and empanadas with great service. We love Blue Tortilla!! <3

Ordered from Door Dash tonight and we are more than pleased. First time EVER my hard tacos came still crunchy. The food was amaze balls. You will not be disappointed with the food...we definately were thrilled. Some enjoyable munchies during this difficult time. It brought some smiles to our faces for sure. Thank you!

We arrived at this restaurant for lunch. we heard about this place from many people. Well, it was a winning. the staff were so friendly and we felt good. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. Highly recommended.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work nearby. I like how the service is always awesome and they keep the place well kept at all times. Rates are affordable and they serve big portions.

Stopped for takeout on the way back to work. Had chicken enchiladas platter (it comes with a small side of yellow rice and black beans) very good. Not smothered in cheese and chicken was very flavorful. Ate it too fast for a pic. Maybe next time as I will be going back.

So happy we stepped out of our regular restaurants to try blue tortilla! We went in around 8:30 and our food was brought out maybe 5 minutes later if not sooner. And we ordered a lot!! The food was flavorful and were very generous in serving sizes. We will be coming back! My husband was very impressed with the pork rice bowl. He said that there was so much pork! I got a veggie rice bowl and it was great! We were impressed with the service too!

Ordered their food on Uber for the first time the other day (I wanted churros) and they are amazing, today I ordered their crispy tacos and I have to say they are the best tacos I’ve had. I recommended them to my followers, family, and friends.

Soooooo. Food was ok. Ordered through grubhub. Good came when it was supposed to but missing items. Called the restaurant and spoke to “rob” regarding missing items. He seemed sincere, apologized and said he’ll bring the items to me ASAP. 50 minutes later nothing. Call the restaurant back and same kid answers. Asks me to hold on and puts manager on. Manager says “rob” left 5 minutes ago with my food. Interesting seeing rob answered the phone to start with. 35 minutes go bye and still nothing. I call the restaurant back and now they’re closed. Reading other grubhub reviews and apparently this is a common issue. They seem to forget food and promise to deliver and don’t. Grubhub gave me my money back but the mediocre food now tastes even worse knowing that the business gives no poop about its customers.
